A Fine Early Dutch Delft Large Platter, Late 1600s

A fine early Dutch Delft large platter or charger, dating to the late 1600’s, possibly early 1700’s, press molded with a bracket edge, tin-glazed red earthenware decorated in four color polychrome enamels, mimicking Chinese Kangxi period famille verte, the central scenic depicting a fantasy Chinoiserie landscape, an island of pavilions and garden terraces adorned with out-sized flowers and a flying dragon chasing a butterfly in the sky, surrounded by a border with six segmented radial symmetry of green lattice diaper segments, each centered with a half blossom of a red petaled flower alternating with a reserved segment containing a twin floral motif, possibly stylized pomegranates framed in a red-blue-red rim line.
