Red terracotta under a white tin glaze, the decoration painted in dark cobalt blue, consisting of a blue edge line and an extra-wide, boldly painted border of alternating palmette forms framed inside and out with double ring lines enclosing beading, in the center a scattering of stylized acacia leaves around a double overlapping lozenge motif. Decorator\’s mark \”B.A.E.\” on the reverse near the rim. Minor rim losses.
